Film Industry within Liverpool is reaching an all-time high, as the city is becoming a prime location for filmmakers.
The high demand for the city is resulting in the Liverpool Film Office being busier than ever.
Highlights from the year has seen films like Tolkien, BAFTA nominated Film Stars Don’t Die in Liverpool and award winning Peaky Blinders.
Assistant Mayor and Cabinet Member responsible for the Film Office, Councillor Wendy Simon has mentioned that she is looking forward to other TV and film ‘gems’ will make its way to the city this coming year.
Projects have generated a massive £11.1 million boast to the local economy and with 289 films, being shot in the area it has made 2017 the biggest year so far.
